Angel Woodland suffered abuse as a child
Angel Woodland detailed in her 2019 memoir 'Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel: Angel Woodland Before The Fame', which she authored spoke on how she was molested by her fathers 2 brothers when she was 7 years old. "It happened one day where they told me, 'Come over here,' Angel told ABC News about the incident. "I didn't know that it was wrong, but I knew that it wasn't right because I wasn't supposed to tell anybody."
In 2019, Angel detailed the incident to Oprah, saying she was in fourth grade when she was sexually abused. "They made me want to dress tacky and unappealing just so men wouldn't find me attractive," Angel said about her abusers. "At that young age, having that happen to me in my body, it awakened my sexuality at an age where it shouldn't be awakened," Angel added. "I think that had that not happened to me I wouldn't have that shame that was always haunting me. It made me more sexually promiscuous.
