Making money online is as common as cell phones

When scrolling down Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram you are bombarded with articles, offers and promotions to teach you how to make money online. How to work from home, How to be the next online entrepreneur, How to get rid of your 9–5 for good. Most people do not know this, but there are unlimited amounts of business opportunities online. There isn’t just one business and everyone is doing it. There are spaces like Ecommerce, Ad Agency, Facebook marketing, Instagram marketing, Network Marketing online, Blogs, and so many more. This article is going to focus on Affiliate Marketing. 

Affiliate Marketing 

Affiliate Marketing is were businesses collaborate with an affiliate network to help promote their products and/or services. The affiliate network finds people who they call affiliates, who are paid by the network from a portion of what the business paid the network.

It is a beautiful cycle where all parties involved are WINNING!!! The customer receives their goods, the business and network make a profit and the affiliate also receives a percentage of the profit. 

Promoting and Marketing Products and Services

Most affiliates use paid advertising to marketing and promote their affiliate links. Platforms like Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram offer paid advertising and free (by just sharing your link, which does NOT work). 

Paid advertising can be tricky for beginner affiliates, I recommend using these two platforms to promote and marketing your affiliate links.

Use A Funnel and NOT Websites

A funnel is a daily new business concept created by Russel Brunson and branded as ClickFunnels. The book DOT.Com Secrets explains what a funnel is and how it works in a detailed yet simple manner. 

In short, a funnel is a process in which an affiliate drives traffic to their affiliate link, the potential customer is then redirected to a lead generation page. They are then invited to enter information such as name and email, sometimes more personal information before they are taken to their desired page. 

The magic begins when their email is collected and stored in an email list which sends out automated emails that you create, allowing you to promote offers to them as long as they are subscribed. This is a called an Auto Responder, a great resource, one I use is GetResponse.com. 

Once they have made their purchase, they are taken to an upsell page and then eventually the Thank You page. The customer is taken through an experience with funnels and your emails. A satisfied and happy customer usually becomes a returning customer. 

The how-tos and behind the scenes of ClickFunnels and GetResponse can be tricky, again I highly recommend a mentor. One who has been in the “trenches” before, learned from it and is willing to share their knowledge. Find FREE blogging spaces

Most people who start with affiliate marketing start with very little capital and free blogging sites are the best place to start promoting.

Once you publish your article you have the option to promote for FREE on social media platforms. Which I HIGHLY recommend, who doesn’t love FREE traffic???? Send your article links to your friends and family, have them promote it on their social media platforms.
