PURPLE RAIN YOU SO SPIRITUAL

So freaking what! So you have a new yoga mat, you meditated a few times and you bought some kale. I am proud of you but so what. Did you transcend to higher levels of cosmic greatness, did the inner star child speak to you, did your inner guide speak infinite wisdom into your nowness!? UMM exactly, what does any of that mean?

In our rush to "perfect" our spirituality, we often lose focus on the purpose. The purpose to be liberated from self, and ego, and all that prideful bullshit we as humans cling to so desperately.  We equate materialistic things with being spiritually superior. You bought a $60 dollar yoga mat, you meditated for three hours, SO WHAT PURPLE RAIN(the best spiritual name I could think of). 

We never get "good" at meditation, we never get "good" at being a spiritual person, The only things required to enjoy the life you were created to manifest is YOUR FOCUS, YOUR INTENTION, and YOUR SURRENDER  The simplicity of "just being" is incredibly simple, so simple we feel the need to complicate it with a set limit of meditative minutes, the right yoga class, the right mantra, the right guru, the right book, etc. 

Heres the deal, relax, breathe and let's life infold as it would. use your yoga mat for a giant wine coaster, use your kale to wipe your butt, and quit trying to perfect meditation. It is simple, be you and lose everything else. Then and only then will you transcend to the highest level of PURPLE RAIN.

PS Im only writing here because they would not let me post with less than 300 words, so remember kale can be an awesome alternative to toilet paper and I believe in your purple rain spirit. Also, do yoga mats really cost $60?
