Don't wait until you feel 100% ready, because you never will be
The world offers 1,001 ways to succeed, achieve, and be this or that. I DO NOT KNOW 1,001 WAYS BUT I KNOW ONE! You are special, amazing, and whatever other brilliant adjectives you can contrive. Although many individuals may have your best interest at heart, they negate to inform you of the greatest truth and freedom; YOU ARE A BADASS. Nothing else matters until you realize this. And I mean nothing. https://youtu.be/aeUMCuYMZmQ
So right now grab a pen and paper,(the article will be here when you get back-BADDASSES do not procrastinate) and use 5 minutes to write your goals, each goal being one defined sentence. And below each goal, write a simple action you can take to achieve said goal. You may only have a few, you may have ten. The number is not important, but having a definite goal and corresponding action is. Feels great, doesn’t it!? Taking actions no matter how small is a reward in itself, these steps will become habits and habits will grow into your identity. BADASS
Just like one cup of coffee will not get you through the week, neither will telling yourself you are a BADASS only on Monday get you through the rest of the days. To transform our lives, we must change our routine and what better time to start than each morning.
Morning routines help us set the tone for the day, and this allows us to better control the day than having the day control us. As we start each day mentally, spiritually and physically prepared, we can better focus on what is in front of us. When we feel great our day becomes better and purposely defined.
1st 5 min habit
Meditation When your feet hit the floor in the morning find a comfortable spot to meditate(Go pee 1st, I definitely recommend a bathroom break.) And my gosh do not fear meditation, people scream “It’s too hard and I can’t sit still and I think too much.” SHUTUP, BADASSES meditate, there’s no right or wrong way. Call it what you want if it helps, visualization, quiet time, prayer, I DONT CARE, just do it. You can go on YouTube and find cool 5-minute meditations with music, others with voices guiding you into a relaxed state. There are meditations for health, gratitude, abundance, etc. Find one that suits you, sit still and let your mind go into the unknown. Last, I suggest sitting up and not lying in bed or you will fall asleep. And have fun with it, again there is no right or wrong.https://youtu.be/ynzHRz2hciQ
2nd 5-minute habit
Learning. You have tuned in spiritually now time to awaken the brain. Find a 5-min video or article and watch or read the content. I suggest doing both(this adds 5 more minutes to your morning routine but worth it), find a video to watch and read a similar article thus doubling your ingestion of the information. We can only know what we know, knowledge is valuable, and a BADASS is always learning. The internet has millions of bits of info packed into 5-minute punches, tons of motivational speeches on YouTube, and TED Talks are a go-to. This readily processed knowledge helps gain new info in speedy excerpts.https://www.youtube.com/user/TEDtalksDirector
3rd 5-minute habit
Exercise. Yeah, yeah, anything but exercise, well you cannot be a BADASS if you cannot get off the couch or pass out walking up a flight of stairs, sorry. AND ITS ONLY 5-MIN! For example Do 10 pushups, 10 sit-ups, and 10 jumping jacks then repeat. And remember you are in control and this being YOUR routine. The “whats” are not important the actual routine is. Again YouTube can be your best friend, research what movements best work for you and create an exercise routine. Do squats while you brush your teeth or make coffee. JUST MOVE. I don’t have to share the benefits of exercise with you, we’ve heard it and know and now it’s time to do.https://youtu.be/r_-QR-IGxes
The Last Habit
You have performed 15 maybe 20 minutes of BADASS routines and now we finish where we started. Pull out your goals/action paper and read these goals out loud and believe you will accomplish them. I promise the 20 minutes it takes to perform these actions in one morning are more than the majority of the world will do in a lifetime. Now imagine doing and turning these habits into a lifestyle. The potential is unlimited and you will become a new person. A BADASS!! And if your super adventurous, repeat this routine before you go to bed, overall this takes less than an hour a day and the benefits will last a lifetime.
Cheers and Love
