Science reveals we have 60,000 thoughts a day and 40,000 of these are negative. For example, “I’m fat, she’s fat, life sucks, he sucks” And 95% percent of the day’s thoughts are the same recurring thoughts from the previous day, previous week, and previous years. Can we break free and enjoy the unfathomable adventure that is life? Life, the universe, God, consciousness, call it what you may, is on our side. The only requirement is to accept this freedom from self. Christianity calls it dying to self and eastern mysticism says to empty oneself of unnecessary thought.
We see unforeseen and discomforting situations as negative, but what if they were opportunities to discover life and ourselves for what we truly are. “Bad things happen and people die,” turns to “perceptions create reality and time is precious.” The world reflects our inner thoughts, if we dislike the world we live, we must change our thoughts.

Bad things happen and our bodies will pass away, but something far more valuable is to be learned, discovered and experienced: Life is yours, created by your own doing, and far more exciting than negativity and death.
